I'm Maja Vovk, a production designer and art director based in Ljubljana, working in commercials and film. I've been doing this for almost two decades, moving between ideas, drawings, budgets, workshops and sets. I like building things, inventing solutions and figuring out how to make something that doesn't exist yet actually exist. There's a lot of improvisation involved, usually somewhere between what was imagined and what is actually possible. We build it, shoot it, and sooner or later, happily tear it down.
